Today, I am a little heartbroken by the thought of getting\u00a0separated from my home; when I first arrived here, in\u00a0this enormous computer lab, I felt a sense of fear and\u00a0awkwardness, but after seeing other computers here, I\u00a0felt calm in the air. It was as if I was home again.<\/p>\n

The attendant joined my circuits carefully, and I was\u00a0ready to help others as I was supposed to. After getting\u00a0done with my system requirements, the attendant left,\u00a0and all the other computers rushed toward me as they\u00a0wanted to ask me many questions; with this sudden
\nrise in the voices, I was startled a bit, but then I realised\u00a0this was my new home. We talked a lot, they asked me\u00a0about my new updates and software version, and they\u00a0were impressed by the characteristics that I had, I felt\u00a0proud as I was the new Gen-Z favourite.<\/p>\n

My days were full of happening and interesting stories. I still remember a day, when students were having their\u00a0exams in my lab, I was easily able to sense the fear in\u00a0their eyes, their heartbeats were racing, but they sat and\u00a0started working on their papers.<\/p>\n

The kid working with me had a very serious look on his\u00a0face, I said to myself, \u201cGreat! This kid is interesting, he\u00a0knows all the answers, and it will be good to work with\u00a0him\u201d I got very excited with all these thoughts. Suddenly,\u00a0I saw that serious look on his face vanish into thin air.
\nWith a flustered face, he prayed, \u201cGod, Please help this\u00a0time, I will study next time, I promise\u201d, that day I laughed\u00a0a lot. I said to myself, \u201cThese are little kids, what do I\u00a0expect from them, if they have a serious look it means\u00a0they are in fear.\u201d These little moments always made my
\nday.<\/p>\n

I also remember a story from their exam times, when\u00a0first-year students who didn\u2019t have my siblings (laptop)\u00a0with them came to me for help. They studied all night in\u00a0the lab, and a few slept there. In the morning, I woke up\u00a0with a sudden voice shouting, \u201cWe have an exam in 10
\nminutes, let\u2019s go\u201d I saw students rushing out of the lab;\u00a0the person who was working with me was sleeping like\u00a0a baby, so peacefully. But his friend came to wake him\u00a0up, and they both rushed out of the lab. I wished them\u00a0good luck.<\/p>\n

My days pass like this, every day, I see new faces and make new friends, with lots of memories and stories.<\/p>\n

\u201cTomorrow is the day for one,\u201d I heard somebody say. I\u00a0already knew this; now that I am old, younger\u00a0generations came after me and took over the lab, and\u00a0my old friends were already gone. I wondered what\u00a0would happen to me once I was removed from the lab.<\/p>\n

Would I be sold for parts or simply scrapped for metal? Would I ever be used again, or would I end up in a\u00a0landfill somewhere? I felt a sense of fear, loss, and\u00a0abandonment, but deep down, I knew this was for the\u00a0best. Even though I wanted to spend more time in this
\nlab, I wouldn\u2019t, as tomorrow will be my last day.<\/p>\n

Through my time here, I helped a lot of students,\u00a0professors, and teaching assistants with their research\u00a0and work. But now, all of that was coming to an end. I\u00a0wished I could have done more, been more useful, or\u00a0lasted longer. But I knew my time had come, and I had\u00a0to accept my fate.<\/p>\n

While thinking about all this, a student came to me and\u00a0started working with me. I forgot all my worries and\u00a0tried my best to help him. Working late at night, he felt\u00a0tired and slept on my keys. I watched him sleeping all\u00a0night. It was the best moment of my life, I felt very calm.
\nNow, I don\u2019t want to think about tomorrow, I want to live\u00a0today. But still, I just want to say, \u201cHey! Are you gonna\u00a0miss me?\u201d<\/p>\n
