We started our exploration on 19th May. We had to travel to Mumbai to start our journey. The temperature on 19th May was recorded as to be highest in Rajasthan. The average temperature of Rajasthan on that day was around 51°C. I boarded my train at 9:30 am from Bikaner. That afternoon was one of the longest in my life. Just to give a feel of the temperature inside the train, my plastic water bottle got deformed after that afternoon. That afternoon came out to be the one I will never forget my whole life. Next day, I reached Mumbai and joined Tejas and we started roaming in Locals of Mumbai. On a spiritual note, we visited our first place as Mahalaxmi temple. After experiencing the majestic beauty of Maharashtra by covering Mumbai, Aurangabad, Pune and Mahabaleshwar, we headed to Goa.We arrived early in Goa after a long journey of 17 hours. We hired a bike and headed to the ‘haunted’ church – ‘Three kings church’.  The church is isolated from any human inhabitants nearby. Looking at the sign that states please don’t lit candles there, made us think twice. There was something different in the air that made us feel the fear from that place. Maybe that’s due to the fact that we were only two there with no tourists around. But going to that place really a good thrilling option. After Goa, we headed towards south India covering Kanyakumari, Madurai, and Kodaikanal. The best part of the whole trip was entering Rameshwaram through ‘Pambam’ bridge.  It is built on the ocean. It is so huge and long that we felt so alone and complete at the same time. It was like we were floating in an abyss of solitude but the only constant reminder of our earthly lives was our aching legs. We traversed a lot more places, north-east India, Delhi, Hyderabad…

Of all the experiences I had in the life, Explorer’s Fellowship has indeed left the memories which I will never ever forget. It really felt good to be lost in this incredible country in the right direction. Traveling has made me look into myself and discover more. I would say that it’s due to Explorer’s Fellowship, my journey of traveling has started. I haven’t traveled everywhere in India, but definitely, others are on the list now.
