As we started our first most exciting journey with each other in college and that too in the very first year, all three of us were full of ardour and vibrancy. We had our bags fully loaded and were ready to start this awaited journey. ‘Mumbai’, our first destiny seemed familiar to all three of us as we had been there already. But this time the experience was totally different, we had to manage everything on our own, even the place to live: and that was the first benchmark in front of us. Now, gradually as we moved ahead in our journey, it became more and more fascinating. We learnt from the experiences we gained (sweet or sour).

Before going for the exploration, we had a doubt in mind regarding the linguistic change. We thought that we may have to face slight difficulties when we visit the southern and eastern states as all three of us came from northern country side. But during the tour, we hardly felt any difference among people. We fell in love more and more with our country and our people. ‘Language was never a barrier’.

Among three of us, no one was hesitated in trying new spices and local cuisine of a place and enjoyed it to the fullest. The culture and the places that we had been were so amazing that made us wish that we never end this trip. The memories that were created, the moments we enjoyed are a lifetime achievement for each one of us. There were times when we felt like leaving the trip but the anxiousness to travel kept it going…..and we rejoiced…

The places that we had in our exploration itinerary included: The non-veg paradise (Hyderabad), southernmost tip (Kanyakumari), Howrah city (Kolkata), dil walo ki Dilli (Delhi), the IT hub (Bangalore), Aurobindo’s place (Pondicherry) and the list goes on and on… We climbed the hilly chilly areas of Darjeeling and Gangtok in the east, enjoyed histories of rulers at Golconda fort, Salar Jung museum… spent some peace at the beaches in the south, enjoyed being with the friends that we met, loved the people and heritage at places and much more. Among the places that we visited, the best place that three of us agreed upon was Pondicherry- the ambience, the atmosphere, the calmness, everything there was so attractive and soothing that we didn’t want to leave it…but as we know-‘THE TRIP MUST GO ON’…

Well there’s a lot more to share and this writing would get converted into a heavy bundle of experience. We thank our college for providing us with such a great opportunity to know and discover our marvellous country…
