Theme: Various Cuisines in India
The Explorer’s Fellowship was an eye-opener for all three of us. Explorer fellowship is a journey that everyone should embark on for it imbibes lots of life skills like adaptability, compromise, punctuality, quick thinking etc. While travelling, we came across a diverse variety of cultures, people, food, clothing, transportation, weather and we really realized that India is indeed unity in diversity. The main theme of our journey was to find special food across different regions in the country. The variety of food that we found was just overwhelming and the type of food prevalent almost matched the culture of the place and climate of the place. Even the change in cultures and traditions were noticeable as moved from one state to another state, sometimes we were amused by the cultural differences we found across cities of the same state. One of the major challenges we faced in this fellowship was language. The language was a huge barrier and at times, we were helpless as it was difficult to communicate with common folks.
