While entering into professional life after graduation, we required to get to know about the real world and It was the best time to avail such opportunity. Applying for IIT Gandhinagar’s Explorer Fellowship, was one of the life changing decision of our life. It was like great gift from our college to get to know about economic and cultural diversity of our nation across the length and breadth, from Gujarat to Arunachal Pradesh, Kashmir to Kerala, before having the hectic profession life.
Initially, while starting this trip, it looked like a mountain which felt difficult to conquer, but it ended up with lifetime memories and endless joy. In the age of insecurity, where people don’t trust, we were able to find helpful hands, even made some good friends who joined us for some miles in our 42 days long trip. Which filled our heart with adventures and pleasure. We shared our life experiences with each other. We enjoyed playing football and cards with them.
There were some occasions, when we were completely disconnected from the world and those moments were the best moments with the nature. Sitting alone and appreciating the beauty of nature gave us the glimpse of heaven and that lured everyone’s soul. Like our culture, the Indian local cuisines have their unique impact on our experience. The Indian food concept is not only meant to have good taste, but they formed to have one’s better health, like ‘Sambhar’ is used as medication of cough and constipation, ‘Sattu’ to keep body cool in summer.
Having such amazing time, we forgot that we were going close to our final destination, where we were going to conclude our trip. The time we spend together was the best time we spend throughout our 4 years of B. Tech. We are really thankful of IIT Gandhinagar for such opportunity.
