Theme: Offbeat India

Explorer fellowship was a thrilling challenge to us which while completing it made us rethink about our day to day lives while visiting some of the offbeat places across India. We explored various historical and religious places like Antargange temple, Bangalore palace, Qamar Ali Dargah, Bada Imambara. We also explored beaches, bridges and caves like Ellora caves, Baga beach, seven sisters’ waterfall, double-decker living root bridge. We were mesmerized by the beauty of the structures and the same time got curious about the mystery that how ancient people built this architectural wonder. Also, It was so breathtaking to see these natural wonders like seven sister waterfall and double decker living root bridge which we had never imagined before. We were amazed to see Bada Imambara which was standing without any pillars. This journey of travelling for 45 days was not easy for us. More than the destinations, our journeys have taught us what it is like to be a traveler when you don’t have the luxury of your daily comforts.
