l’explorers

Our exhilarating but exhausting journey started in Delhi and ended in Goa. In the span of 42 days, we traveled 12 states with the inclusion of all the regions of our country. We visited the places which reflect the vast diversity of India and justify the widely consented title of unity in diversity given to our nation. From visiting the historic tomb of Mughal emperor Humayun to the ruined city of great Vijay Nagar empire Hampi, we endeavored to explore the difference between the architecture skills of Mughal and Hindu empire.  Our nation is surrounded by 6 nations and we were fortunate enough to travel over 3 borders i.e., of Pakistan, Bangladesh, and China.  The patriotic ambiance present there was marvelous and the efforts of BSF were laudable as they are safeguarding the nation in tough conditions. In our journey of 42 days, we transcended the barrier of religion and ample efforts were made by us to explore every culture and religion. From traveling over to lotus temple which is the Bahai house of worship to Bodhgaya where Gautama Buddha attained enlightenment, we tried to explore the minor religions that are present in our diverse society.  We savored the food of world’s largest free eatery when we visited the Golden Temple and the endeavor of the social workers present there to appease the hunger of thousands of people daily was quite astonishing. There are sufficient relics of the colonized era of India present at various places and we traveled over few of them incorporating Puducherry which has still a palpable culture of French present there. We traveled to the most isolated region of India i.e., north-east and explored the typical culture present there. We visited one of the most unexplored places in India i.e., Tawang after traveling through a tricky path and explored the difficulties faced by them due to difficult geographic location. Finally, visiting Goa was like icing on the cake. After traveling for continuous 38 days, dozing on the beaches of Goa induced a sense of nirvana for that moment. At the end it can be concluded that language isn’t a barrier to live in such a diverse country like India, even though we speak many languages we are bound together through values of humanity and compassion and will remain united for eternity.
