rage of angels

As this once in a lifetime journey comes to an end, all we can think about is how it has changed us and shaped us for the better. Three girls who once had their doubts about whether we will be able to manage a day outside have now completed 6 weeks on our own. The trip had its ups and downs and it is all that we shared together that makes it so memorable that we would give anything to be back on it. Travelling brings out its own inhibitions but it is infact when you are travelling that you realize that nothing is more important than being with the people you like and exploring the never seen before places. With our theme being cultural versatility, we had ample chances to explore versatility in terms of food, lingual and mindset of people as a whole. After being to almost every corner we can now very well say that India has adapted very well to the food needs of people from all around the country as we did not encounter as such a huge problem. With a little effort we could savour some delicious local food items. We came across cheap and good home stays all across the country. Being from different lingual background many a time people were not able to understand what we wanted to convey but this was never an unmanageable problem for us. In a very generalize way we can say that despite of huge differences in language , food , clothing in people all across India, everyone we came across  were mostly  polite and were willing to help the one in need. We rarely encountered situations wherein people refused to help us completely.

This one and a half month of exploration has given us a life time memories and experiences and also providing us the confidence to deal with any type of lingual as well as cultural difference anytime. The list of what we came back with is so long that we can only say that going on this explorer’s fellowship is the best opportunity that we got till date and the best decision we have ever taken. What can be better than getting to have a nonstop journey for 45 days and travelling the length and breadth of this astounding country. Yes, this idea of unity residing in diversity is quite a questionable statement but from now onwards we too are the strong believers of this. We as an individual have had so many great experiences all across the nation that the country with 3,287 million km2, the country which is seventh largest in terms of area seems like a huge joint family in which we continuously try to live with peace and harmony.

At last we want to summarize our whole experience in the few lines of a famous song which perfectly suit our emotions after completion of this terrific BHARAT BRAHMAN:

इतनी ममता नदियों को भी
जहाँ माता कह के बुलाते है
इतना आदर इन्सान तो क्या
पत्थर भी पूजे जातें है
इस धरती पे मैंने जनम लिया
ये सोच के मैं इतराता हूँ
भारत का रहने वाला हूँ
भारत की बात सुनाता हूँ
