‘Experience’ it is the feeling that one holds in his/her life which he/she learned or felt from some good or bad times of his/her life and which make a long lasting effect on his/her mind. This experience helps to make their life better than they are living.
In the same way we have had great experiences on our Explorer Fellowship Tour. It made our thinking very wide. Before going on this trip we only knew about our nearby environment, culture and tradition in which we are living but after this trip we came to know about various types of people, their living styles, their traditions, their believes and the environment in which they are living.
It is a saying that ‘Time is Powerful’, which is true; we remember the time when we were making our itinerary and sat in front of the interviewers and now we sit in our homes. It is the 16th may when we started our trip. From this trip we got different types of feelings. In Mumbai while standing in front of the hotel TAJ our eyes were able to feel the terrifying attack on it which had whole country shivering. The beaches and waterfall of goa were amazing. On the other hand, royalty of the Mysore palace and the City palace (Udaipur) were worth-watching. By going there we came to know their high-class and well maintained life style. Amber Fort and Kumbhalgarh Fort forced us to think about the strength the people of that time had and how they were able to make 6 to 36km long boundary wall of the forts in order to keep their people safe. The level of patience and sincerity the people of Gangtok have is really something that is worth appreciating; Even in 3-4 km long traffic jam we didn’t hear a single horn and didn’t see a single overtaking, they all were in a single line, and the most surprising thing was that all this was in the absence of the traffic police. We also went to the sacred Devbhumi Haridwar and Vrindavan. In Haridwar we took the bath in the holy Ganga and did a 9km long religious walk, called parikarma, in Vrindavan. By seeing the beauty of Prem Mandir and Vaishno Mata Mandir we were not able to believe our own eyes and we filled the temple’s hall by our loud ‘ Jaykaras’. We also saw the Wagha Border and Bharat-Nepal border which are supposed to be maintained and respected by both the nations on both sides of the border. We felt honoured when we saw the symbol of Indian Constitution, Prosperity and Unity the Rashtrapati-Bhawan and the Sansad-Bhawan.
We also enjoyed our train journey and bus journey; singing songs and playing cards on our way and also enjoying each -others company. We also learned how to live with limited resources in typical situations and how to respect each-others thoughts and work as a team, as a family.
In our trip we also enjoyed our theme clothing very much. These 42 days were most adorable moments of our life. We can never forget these memories which we made with each other. This trip gave us a new vision to live life.
At last we are very thankful to our Institution to give us this grateful and mind-blowing opportunity.
