India is rich in its culture, food, heritage sites, diversity of the people and wonderful natural sites. It is the most diverse country in terms of heritage and natural sites. India is at the sixth rank in having the world heritage sites. We are gifted with wonderful and fascinating natural sites. Since we three were always interested in knowing the facts and figures of different heritage sites and their history, we aimed to explore all these wonders and understand the history behind these sites, the architecture of sites, and how these sites are preserved for the next generation. So, we explored Gateway of India, Shaniwarwada, Sinhagad Fort, Dudhsagar Waterfall, Aguada Fort, the Cathedral, Tipoo Sultan’s Summer Palace, Mysore Palace, Brindavan Garden, Alleppey lighthouse and beach, Sthanumalayan Temple , Kapaleeswarar temple, Shore Temple, Hadimba temple and several other heritages and wonders. We found that some were well preserved while others were not. We are very fortunate to have an opportunity like this. It has given a new perspective on how we think about India. It is going to be a memory for a lifetime.
