We started our journey from Ahmedabad. Our first stop was Matheran(Maharashtra). The Beauty of that place was mesmerizing. On the very first day of our trip, we walked nearly 16 km on terrain areas. Then we went to Goa and visited churches and few beautiful beaches. From there we traveled to Bangalore. The atmosphere in Bangalore was so much lovely that we thought to drop the explorer plan and stay there forever. There we experienced the taste of traditional south Indian food. We fell in love with the beauty of Munnar and Ooty. Visiting backwaters of Alleppey was once in lifetime experience. The view of Swami Vivekananda memorial surrounded by oceans at the southernmost point of India was beautiful. We observed the culture of south India. Passing by Chennai and Pondicherry, we took our longest tiring journey to Kolkata. The city still emerges old fashion. Then we went to Sikkim, the best part of our trip. We played with snow, hangout on Gangtok streets and visited some lakes. River rafting in Rishikesh was one of the best experience. Then we went to Shimla, in Kufri we all enjoyed the adventure park. Manali was fun. We walked nearly 18 km and hang-out in the forest. Golden Temple in Amritsar was looking very beautiful. The joy of eating very famous chole-kulchey was great. Finally, we ended our journey in Delhi. Overall we experienced all traditional culture of India along with some western culture in India. There where many bad experiences we faced. While traveling from Manali to Amritsar, We met a fatal accident. Hopefully, none of us was injured. Throughout our journey, we used to walk average 10km to avoid an expensive taxi. There were two main things which we learned from Explorers were trading off our comfort to be in budget and language can never become a
barrier. Overall experienced in explorer is very lovely and unforgettable for us. At last, we would like to thank IIT Gandhinagar for giving us this opportunity.
