In pursuit of my Doctoral thesis, I got training in psychometric and projective tests,clinical intervention based on Cognitive and Dialectical Behaviour Therapies. My training in Dialectical Behaviour Therapy with Behaviour Tech. Inc USA has polished my skills as a therapist of working with clients of all ages with different mental health issues. I believe in complete acceptance of the individual as they are and maintain an eclectic approach in counselling.<\/p>\n
There\u2019s nothing more wonderful than nature in its bountiful glory. I find poetry, music and nature walk extremely enchanting. I love to read and pen down my thoughts. Had keen interest in theatre and was involved in street plays during college days.<\/p>\n

Having completed my Masters\u2019 degree, I received training as an intern at hospitals and mental health centres. At these places, I learned about career counselling, helping the adolescents with the problem of depression, anger management and deviant behaviour.<\/p>\n
I am a follower of Humanistic school of thought and I have been following its principles while counselling the clients. I am an empathetic and a patient listener and accept the clients as they are. I also tend to focus on growth of the clients and myself, as I believe that learning is a lifelong process.<\/p>\n
My hobbies and interests include reading novels, listening to interviews and music (various genres), interacting with people from different culture, watching movies and series.<\/p>\n

After completing my postgraduate education (M.Ed and M.A. in Psychology) I began as an educator at the higher secondary level. I gradually moved into psychological counselling and have not looked back since. My most recent role as a counselor was with the Indian Air Force. As part of my professional journey, I have met individuals from diverse age, ethnic, socio-economic, linguistic, cultural groups. I am fascinated by the complexity of human thoughts, attitudes and behaviors and use these to continue learning.
