After our exams got over we packed our bags and headed to Mumbai. Mumbai which we saw a mixture of everything. Here it was dirty around the railway station and the local was awesome, pretty fast and spacious.
After Mumbai, we headed to Pune, and it wasn’t that mesmerizing for us. We went to Shani vada and botanical park which was fine. Our next stop was Goa, the state of beaches, has much more to offer and here we enjoyed a lot of special sweet and bitter mangoes. The culture of Goa is very different from the whole of the country. Here one gets to see the glimpse of Portuguese culture. We saw Dudhsagar waterfall which was awesome and we bathed in it. Next, we went to Ernakulam and here in Kerala known as God’s own country, one can experience everything here, from backwaters to hill station such as Vagamon and South Indian food adds spice to one’s trip.We went to tea farms and enjoyed the evening. We saw the fisherman with Chinese fishing nets and here What we saw was liquor being sold in lines and the government transport was very cheap affordable with good frequency. Coconut trees all around you mesmerize everyone.
Andhra Pradesh was way expensive and the government transport too. We visited a few temples here which was a good experience. All the three of us for the first time here went to an island. We next headed to Visakhapatnam the cleanest railway station of India and here saw Kailash Giri which is on the hilltop and from here one can see the whole city moving.
Next in Odisha were templates, we choose a few and visited Konark sun temple, Linga Raj Temple, Raja Rani Temple, how could we spare Jagannath, one of the 4 dams of Hindus was filled with spirituality. We then went to Kolkata, visited Howrah bridge one of the best examples of architecture, had awesome street food with Misti Doi, went to the botanical garden and saw great banyan tree which is too old, here too we were again in God’s arm and saw Kali Ghat Temple.
Then we were in northeastern states, Assam, and Sikkim which was a new cultural overdose for us. The exciting part of this part was Nathula pass which we got a chance to go and explore. It was way cold and we met soldiers and appreciated them for safeguarding us.
Our last stop was Himachal Pradesh, hills all around us and a lot of vegetation. We hiked a lot here and saw Himalayan peaks covered with ice. People in Himachal are very sweet and supportive.
