The SDC Kitaab Initiative was launched with the primary goal of promoting reading, improving reading skills, and fostering overall staff development.

Outbound Training is an annual initiative that promotes teamwork, leadership, and inspires motivation among staff. A total of six editions have been organised to date. The 6th edition of OBT was held on 30th November 2024 at Camp Unity Resort, Vadodara. 61 staff members participated in the event, which included team-building exercises, leadership activities, and outdoor adventure-based learning.

The Adventure Activities endeavors, led by the Adventure Frenzy Club, are meticulously curated to cultivate teamwork, foster effective communication, and sharpen problem-solving acumen. Through these initiatives, we aim to nurture deeper connections among team members while honing skills essential for our advancement.

Knowledge-Voyage is an interactive quiz session designed for the staff members to enhance learning, cultivate team spirit, and engage in knowledge sharing. The session blends a variety of topics, ensuring a broad learning experience. It is a fun, fast-paced way to foster critical thinking, collaboration, and a spirit of friendly competition.

The Ahmedabad Heritage Walk is a guided tour to showcase Ahmedabad’s rich history and culture to IITGN staff members. As an informal, outdoors session, the Heritage Walk spreads awareness of cultural heritage and its preservation. It enables one to learn history by interacting with tangible and intangible elements during the walk.
