Senapathy Gopalakrishnan

Senapathy Gopalakrishnan, popularly known as Kris Gopalakrishnan, is Chairman of Axilor Ventures, a company supporting and funding startups. He was former executive vice chairman (former co-chairman) of Infosys, a global consulting and IT services company based in India. Kris Gopalakrishnan is a renowned entrepreneur and an active supporter of various philanthropic and educational activities. In 2011, Government of India awarded him with Padma Bhushan which is India's third highest civilian honor.

Our Mission

The HoMI project explores the rich history of mathematics in India and the enormous contributions by scholars from Vedic to modern times. We promote both advanced research and the creation of authentic educational material at all levels, thus targeting both the scholarly world and the lay public.
