e-Masters in Energy Policy and Regulation

“In the new era of energy, don’t let your knowledge and skills get outdated. Make a commitment to build expertise and stay up-to-date with the industry.”

Energy Policy and Regulation is of critical importance in shaping the welfare of the economies and society of any country. The objective of Regulatory policy is to ensure that Regulation works effectively, and efficiently and must be in the public interest. India’s National Electricity Policy aims for reliable, affordable, and environmentally sound electricity for all. Therefore, to achieve our objective, there is a need for a sound and robust Regulatory framework in India. Regulatory policy is a comparatively young discipline in India and there is growing interest in using regulatory policy to address broad societal concerns such as distributional equity and sustainable development. Similarly, the requirement of Regulatory Professionals, at all levels, is of utmost importance in the present time of energy transitions.

IIT Gandhinagar invites applications to e-Masters programme in Energy Policy and Regulation (EPR) starting in January 2024.
