Digital humanities page emerges from a series of deliberations, seminars, course related discussions and one to one conversation between people at IIT Gandhinagar and beyond on the broad area of digital studies and its impact in Humanities and Social Sciences. The critical juncture of human history that we live at present is a strange inter mixture of techno centric and techno phobic attributes while the digital civilisation is no longer under the domain of science fiction academic and research inquires are rather limited in making sense of the different parts of the elephant. This website or its content is designed to create a lasting discourse and dialogue on the idea of digital humanities with a focus on cultures, literature, society and their crucial inter section with what might be called as a digital turn of human sciences.
