I. Digitalization – Digitalization (It) is a unification of digital technology, and with the help of digital technology we can fill the information gap, in a short period we can connect with a large number of people all around the globe, and it makes our day to day life more comfortable.

In the contemporary world, all human being are dependent on digital technology for their everyday activities, but studies show that in India there are a large number of women, those who are not connected to the internet or mobile phone. Digital gender exclusion in India majorly a reason behind it; social and cultural gender biases create a complication for women not to get educated and flourish another kind of skill. Low level of education is one of the main reasons why women are not internet friendly. The education for Girls in India is mostly at the primary or secondary level; they do not get to know how to operate a computer system. Language is one of the other barriers for women; they have not used the internet, and very few contents are available in the local language. Physical availability of internet is also a big question because there are a large number of population and especially of women who have not accessed the internet. A large number of public training center run by ICT ministry but women are not allowed to visit such places.  At the same time, women themselves are not ready or allow other women in their family to use a mobile phone.  A survey shows that in India out of every five women one woman thought that the use of the internet for women are inadequate, inappropriate, and non-beneficial and some of the women felt uncomfortable while using mobile phone or internet.

It is difficult for developing counties to ensure a minimum level of digital literacy for every section of society. If once the minimum level of digital literacy training provided to women, after that more number of women in rural and urban area use technology. The timing of the training program was a problem for many women in a rural area because in early morning and evening not possible for them to come for training. If the timing of training change according to the preference of women, then it can possible to achieve a minimum level of digital literacy. Once minimum training women got, then further understanding about digital technology tool are easy for them, and they can get mastery in digital technology.
