Sky Drive

The painting titled as “Sky Drive” is engraved on wood and painted with water color. It suggests the fusion of two scenes viewed from two different perspectives. From one perspective, a popular character of Spiderman is emerging out from the circle. The second perspective foregrounds the circle itself. The vintage color and watch like shape of the circle both suggest its pastness. The action depicted in the painting is seized between present and past. It is only the artist’s imagination which blurs the boundaries between past and present.
